New York launches massive renewables tender

The US states aims to attract a further 20 projects with production of approximately 1,500 GWh renewable energy.

The second round has begun in New York's comprehensive tender program for renewable energy projects. Upwards of 20 large-scale projects are expected to attract investments of USD 1.5 billion and produce 1.5 million MWh electricity yearly, announces the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
