Danish wind exports impacted by weak German market

Total Danish wind exports dropped more than 2 percent in 2017. Exports to Germany were almost halved, but the UK served as a safety net under Danish wind turbine manufacturers.

Denmark's wind turbine industry saw fragmented exports in 2017, according to the industry's own numbers, just released by the Danish Wind Industry Association.

While Danish wind turbine technology and wind service almost sold itself in the UK, another key market was hit by a severe setback.
