Danish Cancer Society: no correlation between wind turbines and diabetes

The Danish Cancer Society determines in the second part of its health study on the subject that there is no correlation between the noise from wind turbines and a heightened risk of diabetes.

The correlation between wind turbines and diabetes only exists in the form of a power purchasing agreement between Danish pharmaceuticals giant Novo Nordisk and the wind farm Horns Rev 2.

This has been made clear as researchers from the Danish Cancer Society have released the second part of a health study, which investigated the health effects of noise from wind turbines. The study was released this Monday and shows that wind turbine noise (WTN) does not increase the risk of developing diabetes.
