Taiwan will present results for first offshore wind allocation in April

In a few days, the Taiwanese authorities will publish the results from the first rounds of project allocations for offshore wind power.

In April, Taiwan will announce the results from the first rounds of offshore wind projects allocation, reports industry media Recharge News.

Taiwan increased its offshore wind power target from 3.5 to 5.5 GW in 2025. The media reports that the planned wind capacity will be awarded in several project allocation rounds, and the contracts for all 5.5 GW are expected to be signed by the end of June.
