Indian turbine manufacturer Suzlon installed 626 MW in India during the fiscal year 2017-2018, which thereby secures the manufacturer leadership on its home market.
According to a press release from the firm, the harvest corresponds to 35 percent of the market, which is described as difficult due to changes to the subsidy system. For this reason, the overall market declined to 1,766 GW, corresponding to just 32 percent of installations from the fiscal year 2017.
