FTI foresees 9.1 percent growth in global turbine installations in 2018

After a few years with declines in wind turbine installations, the market will get back on track over coming years, according to an analyst firm.

Following a decline in the global wind turbine market in 2016 and 2017, this year is expected to bring growth once again, according to analyst firm FTI Intelligence in a new report.

The firm also foresees that the market will grow an average annual 3.3 percent ahead of 2027.
