Siemens Gamesa reaches milestone in India

The German/Spanish turbine manufacturer has now installed more than 5 GW in India, and the manufacturer plans to introduce new products to maintain its market share.

Siemens Gamesa can now call itself the second-largest turbine producer in India measured in installed capacity, writes the company in a press release.

The turbine manufacturer further announces that it has reached a milestone in that it as launched operations of 5,000 MW wind in the country, where the firm states that it has been a market leader for the past three years.
