Vestas exited first quarter 2018 with order bonanza

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer ended the first quarter with a surge and announced orders for 849 MW as well as the extension of a service agreement for 1,150 MW.

Vestas had a busy final weekend of March. The company announced a swarm of new orders from Wednesday to Saturday.

All in all, Vestas landed eight orders for a total 849 MW as well as a ten-year extension on a service agreement for 1,150 in the US.
