Italian developer grants auction orders to Vestas

The Danish turbine manufacturer will deliver 20 turbines for two projects by the end of this year.

Italian project developer Fri-El has once more been shopping for two wind farms in the country, announces turbine maker Vestas.

Subsidiaries of Fri-El have acquired 51 MW, which will be installed in Sardinia (14 optimized V110-2.0 MW turbines) as well as in the Emilia Romagna region north of Florence (six V1117 3.3 MW turbines), writes Vestas.
