New Vestas V150 blades will also be made in EMEA and Americas

(Corrected) The Danish wind turbine manufacturer recently outsourced blade production for its V150 turbines to TPI Composites in China, but Vestas now explains that production will also take place in Europe and the Americas .

Blades for the large V150-4.2 MW Vestas turbine will now be manufactured in Europe and the Americas as well. Meanwhile the company has teamed up with partner TPI Composites for the Asia-Pacific markets, the turbine maker tells Ritzau Finans.
