A new US firm, Skyline Renewables, has hired a group of former executives from Spain's Iberdrola and secured financial backing from private investors Ardian and Transatlantic Power Holdings (TPH).

The US wind turbine industry can welcome a new player to the market for owning and developing onshore wind farms.

Skyline Renewables has recruited several former execs from Spain's Iberdrola to its own executive management team, and the company has also secured financial backing from the two private investors Ardian and Transatlantic Power Holdings (TPH).
