Siemens Gamesa grants license for new offshore turbine in China

Shanghai Electric and Siemens Gamesa are celebrating their long-term partnership with plans to include the wind turbine manufacturer's newest offshore wind turbine. This is an expression of mutual trust, says the Chinese firm.

Siemens Gamesa wants to be bigger in China.

The wind turbine manufacturer has signed an additional deal with its Chinese partner Shanghai Electric for the Chinese firm to produce the manufacturer's 8 MW offshore wind turbine for Chinese projects, announces Siemens Gamesa.
