NKT books solid growth in 2017

While the cable manufacturer passed the EUR 1 billion mark in sales, the bottom remains in the red.

Revenue grew leaps and bounds at NKT in 2017, but the firm is still struggling with a deficit on the bottom line, albeit a much-reduced one.

NKT's sales passed EUR 1 billion landing at EUR 1.058 billion in 2017. This marked an increase of roughly EUR 300 million relative to the year before. However, it is worth noting that the major growth stems mainly from the acquisition of ABB HV Cables.
