GE recruits sales director to conquer market shares at sea

The US turbine manufacturer is bringing in a sales director for offshore wind turbines in order to secure a "serious market share" at sea.

GE wants a bigger piece of the rapidly growing offshore wind market.

To this end, the US wind turbine manufacturer has recruited Danish Søren Høffer as new sales director for the division. The executive arrives from GE-owned Danish blade manufacturer LM Wind Power, where he served as VP of sales and marketing since 2013, reports Danish media Børsen.
