Ørsted gets Taiwan project approved

The Taiwanese environmental authorities have approved Ørsted's four offshore wind projects totaling 2.4 GW.

Denmark's Ørsted can now get down to the business of launching four important offshore wind projects in Taiwan, after the utility received final approval from the country's Environmental Protection Administration.

"Today's approvals mark an important milestone for our expansion in Asia and the realization of Taiwan's ambitious energy targets," said Martin Neubert, CEO of Wind Power.
