Siemens Gamesa lands large Egyptian order

The German-Spanish wind turbine manufacturer booked its largest order from Egypt ever.

Siemens Gamesa will deliver and install 125 turbines for the Egyptian wind farm Gulf of Suez.

The order's total capacity is for 262.5 MW, to be divided among 125 G97-2.1 MW turbines.

GE implements 3D printing for making component molds
