Vestas lands Mexican order

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has received an order for 118 MW.

Mexican firm Compañía Eólica Vicente Guerrero SA de CV has placed an order at Vestas for a total of 118 MW for the wind farm Vicente Guerrero, which is located in the state of Tamaulipas.

In a press release, Vestas informs that the order comes from a private Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) and consists of delivery and installation of 6 V136-3.45 MW turbines and 27 V136-3.45 which have been boosted to 3.6 MW capacity.
