Maersk and Statoil support Michael Bloomberg's climate recommendations

At a climate conference in Paris, Michael Bloomberg has announced the 237 companies which now support the climate recommendations from climate task force TCFD. Several oil and energy companies are on the list.

Nordic groups including Maersk, Statoil and ISS are backing the climate recommendations published earlier this year by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). TCFD, chaired by former New York mayor and Bloomberg founder Michael Bloomberg.

Right now, companies don’t have the data they need to accurately measure the risks and evaluate the opportunities.
