Danish FSA to investigate pension funds' energy investments

EnergyWatch and sister site FinansWatch have recently released a series of articles about the Danish pension sector's direct investments in energy projects. The Danish FSA is also focusing on this field.

When pension funds delve into the world of investing in wind turbines, hydropower or solar panels, they must keep track of brand new risk elements.

For this reason, the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) will launch a thorough investigation of infrastructure investments, including direct investments in energy projects, says Carsten Brogaard, head of department at the Danish FSA.
