Construction joins New York's wind alliance

The wind turbine industry in the state of New York will be joined by a building and construction council to represent the people who will physically install the offshore wind turbines by New York's iconic skyline.

Support has grown for what will be the spearhead for more US offshore wind turbines in the state of New York.

Renews reports that the New York Offshore Wind Alliance (NYOWA) has welcomed a new member in the form of the New York State Building & Construction Trades Council. With several unions in the council, it represents more than 200,000 construction workers in the state.
