GE installs Europe's largest onshore wind farm in Sweden

Sweden will be home to a new project which is groundbreaking for several reasons. Neas has been hired to hedge green certificates on what will be Europe's largest individual onshore wind farm.

Swedish onshore wind farm Markbygden Ett will now be installed after development planning of 15 years.

GE Energy Financial Services and Green Investment Group have acquired the project from the former developer Svevind and they will invest around EUR 300 million, announce the two firms. The duo has already raised up to the entire investment sum of EUR 800 million for the 650-MW project.
