Enel lands major orders in South America

The company will install three power plants based around three different technologies after last week's tender in Chile.

The Chilean division of Italian utility Enel has secured the right to develop several renewable energy projects, announced the company.

The company will deliver a 116 MWp solar plant, 33 MW geothermal power, and 93 MW wind energy to two regions in the north and south of the country. Altogether, this adds up to 242 MW in projects, or 54 percent of the MW up for tender.
