Baltic Pipe closer to realization after successful bidding round

A positive bidding round for Baltic Pipe means that the project has moved one step closer to realization. The final investment decision is expected to be made in 2018.

In the second and final phase of the Open Season 2017 bidding round for the Baltic Pipe project, market players have confirmed the interest shown in the first phase.

Binding bids were placed for 15 years of capacity for gas transport form Norwegian fields in the North Sea via Denmark and the Baltic to Poland.
