Los Angeles is going electric

Major investments will be made in electric buses on the US west coast. 2,200 city buses will be electrified.

US west coast metropolis Los Angeles in the state of California has decided to replace its 2,200 buses currently equipped with combustion engines with new electric buses, reports media Utilitydrive.

With this move, the city will soon kick off a large-scale public tender of contracts, partly for the electric buses, and partly for a charging infrastructure to support the transition.
