Daimler, BMW, and VW team up to avoid ban on diesel

To avoid a ban on diesel cars in urban areas, the three major German auto manufacturers are joining forces to update the software in more than five million diesel vehicles.

At an emergency meeting in Berlin, a deal was made between the three major German auto manufacturers: Daimler, BMW, and Volkswagen.

The deal is a reaction to German states weighing a ban on diesel cars, reports Bloomberg.
