Neas celebrates record year under new ownership

Gains were made virtually across the board at Denmark's Neas which came under new ownership in 2016. The bottom line grew 25 percent.

Danish energy traders at Neas can add another gold star to its report card, ending 2016 with record results according to the annual report released Tuesday.

Revenue declined slightly to DKK 18.5 billion (EUR 2.5 billion), corresponding to a drop of 9 percent since the previous year. The operating result came to DKK 250 million, with DKK 122 million making up the bottom line and marking a 24 percent increase over 2015 year-on-year.
