The US will be a much more friendly country to investments coal and oil while close to a decade of efforts to reduce the country's CO2 emissions will be slashed. Meanwhile, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has seen its resources stripped back after President Donald Trump paid a visit yesterday in order to sign a decree dismantling the environmental protections which are a centrepiece of President Obama's environmental legacy.
The Trump administration will rollback Obama's Clean Power Plan on the grounds that it hinders oil drilling and coal mine operations.
