Media: EU Commission inclined to approve Nord Stream II

EU sources say that the EU Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker, will likely approve the pipeline Nord Stream II. Germany in particular has been pushing for the approval.

On several occasions, the EU Commission has expressed its concern about the pipeline Nord Stream II which will freight gas from Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea. Now, several EU sources speaking to Euractiv have said that the Commission is leaning towards approving the pipeline.
