EU climate ministers reached agreement Tuesday about how they want the union's system for CO2 quotas to be fixed. When the meeting wrapped up, the Danish minister for energy, utilities, and climate was pleased and relieved as there had been no guarantee that the ministers would wind up in agreement.
"It was a dramatic day, and it was the most dramatic minister council meeting I have participated in during the 18 months in which I have been a minister. As a minister, I'm very pleased with the result," Danish Minister for Energy, Lars Chr. Lilleholt tells EnergyWatch.
