Trump advisor heralds future oil and gas prosperity

One of Trump's closest advisors within energy and climate is calling for more lenient regulation of the oil and gas sector and threatening to roll back a large part of Obama's climate policy.

In the wake of the Trump victory, the US oil industry will be celebrating while delegates at the COP22 summit in Morocco find yet more reasons to worry. In an interview with Platts Global, North Dakota's Kevin Cramer – who is Trump's most trusted climate and energy advisor – has revealed what is in store for US Energy politics under the new president.
