Down from two to none, this year saw no exploratory drilling take place in the Danish North Sea shelf. None of the oil companies with a license for the Danish shelf are poised to undertake more next year, says Nordsøfonden, the Danish state oil and gas company.
"It is unlikely that there will be any this year," says Inger Salomonsen, exploration manager at Nordsøfonden.
