The three parties set to form the new German government plan to phase out coal by 2030, according to coalition documents cited by Reuters.

Moreover, the Social Democrats (SPD), the Greens and the Free Democrats want 80 percent of electricity consumption to be based on green energy by 2030, reports AFP citing the coalition treaty.
