Belgium and Germany tied closer to Danish energy isles

It will now be assessed whether or not it is possible and advantageous to connect the energy isle to the Belgian mainland or another energy isle.

Tuesday, the Danish energy isles in the North Sea and Baltic Sea move a big step closer to realization.

New agreements have been signed between Danish national transmission system operator (TSO) Energinet and its counterparts in Belgium and northeastern Germany, Elia and 50 Hertz, respectively.
