EU, US sign agreement to cut methane emissions

In an attempt to bring down methane emissions the EU and US have presented a joint plan to deal with the potent greenhouse gas.

The EU and US have reached agreement on a plan to cut emissions of methane by around one third before the end of the decade.

The plan is an attempt to get other countries to bring down their emissions of the gas as well, anonymous sources tell Bloomberg News.
