Danske Commodities stagnates despite twofold growth in power trading

The Danish energy trader's growth tempo has seemingly come to a halt, but the company did manage to make it through a tough 2020 with a marginal increase in both revenue and profit.

Danske Commodities' annual financial statement leaves little doubt about what the Equinor-owned power trader means with its key word for labeling 2020: unusual.

That descriptor appears no less than 10 times in the full-year report telling of how the Covid-19 pandemic created major fluctuations in both consumption and prices.
