German carbon tax could make Danish emissions surge by roughly 2 million tonnes

In step with Germany setting heavy levies on fossil fuels, Denmark's CO2 emissions will increase due to a boost in cross-border fuel trade. This provides a golden opportunity for the Scandinavian country to raise its own carbon tax, says green council.
