PPA market set record in 2020

2020 saw the clear majority of power purchase agreements signed for projects in Spain, reveals new report.

The European market for power purchase agreements (PPAs) was greatly impacted by the coronavirus upon its arrival, shows a new report by Pexapark.

In the months March-June, only 14 PPAs were signed in Europe for a combined capacity of 664 MW, mainly due to the lockdowns seen across countries in the attempt to curb the contagion.
