Norway's government reaches agreement on prestige CCS project Longship

The political route for Norway's CCS engagement is now paved with the state ready with major subsidization.

It's one step on the road, but a long stride at that.

Wednesday, in connection in state budget talks, Norwegian parliamentarians came to an agreement on public support for the carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project, Longship. The state will finance 67 percent of the consolidated investment totaling NOK 25.1 billion (EUR 2.35 billion).
