France to introduce climate tax on flight travel

Starting 2020, France will implement a climate tax on flying. Earnings will be used for transportation inside the country.

In future, travelers taking the plane from France will have to adjust to paying an extra fee.

In 2020, a climate tax will be introduced on international flights from the country, informs French Minister of Transport Elisabeth Borne.
