Ørsted successfully sells green bonds worth GBP 900 million

Several investors have given Ørsted commitments regarding the utility's green bond issuance worth GBP 900 million, which will be used to finance the company's investments in renewables.

Danish utility Ørsted has secured commitments from investors concerning its green bond issuance worth a nominal total of GBP 900 million, Ørsted informs in a statement Thursday evening.

"Ørsted has secured nominal GBP 900 million through the issuance of green senior bonds, to finance its green growth ambition towards 2025 including the investment in the offshore wind farm Hornsea 2 in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 1,386 MW," the company writes.
