Investors and researchers reproach IEA's fossil-friendly methodology

The International Energy Agency's energy forecasts are out of date with the latest climate science, and the agency's fossil emission mappings are inadequate, says investors and researchers in a letter to the agency.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) does not make use of the latest climate science and could contribute to increased global CO2 emissions, multiple parties write, including investors and researches, reports Financial Times.

This criticism appears in a letter sent to the IEA and was seen in the UK media.
