Coal lobbyist appointed to head US Environmental Protection Agency

After voting 52-47, the US senate approves a climate science denier to lead the country's Environmental Protection Agency. Only one Republican voted against.

The US Senate has approved president Donald Trump's candidate to lead the country's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), former coal lobbyist Andrew Wheeler.

Wheeler has also worked in Congress for the better part of a decade.
