Tesla hikes prices in China due to higher import duties

The prices of two Tesla models have increased by over USD 20,000 in China.

US-based EV manufacturer Tesla has raised prices on two of its models in China due to the trade conflict between the US and China.

Tesla is thereby the first US automotive company to raise prices in light of the trade conflict between the two countries, both of which have imposed increased tariffs on imports from the other, writes Reuters, referencing an article from industry media Electrek.
