US checks all-of-the-above on list of energy types

The US needs all types of power generation, says the country's secretary of energy, although he does not rule out that the United States might have to declare a state of emergency in order to secure state subsidies for ailing coal and nuclear power plants.

Around 10am local time, a modest vehicle pulled up in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The passenger who stepped out was sporting a classic suit and salt and pepper hair and came off somewhat anonymous at first sight. At least he would have, if not for the entourage of flashing Cadillac Escalades full of security guards that followed.
