Norway to join EU energy market after intense parliament debate

Following heated discussions in Norway's parliament, the country is now joining the EU energy market.

After three hours of heated debate, Norway's parliament decided that the country will join the EU's third package for its energy market.

This was set out as a condition for being a full-fledged member of the EU single market.
