Manufacturing majors challenge "tunnel vision" in Danish energy policy

Four of Denmark's largest industrial players have criticized the renewables focus in Denmark's energy policy. They will now pressure the upcoming energy deal with demands for more ambitious goals of reducing energy consumption.

The debate surrounding future energy policy has kicked off, say four of Denmark's largest companies.

Instead of solely focusing on green energy, Danish manufacturing giants Danfoss, Grundfos, Velux and Rockwool International A/S argue for increasing investments in energy saving products such as energy efficient windows, heating pumps, insulation and thermostats.
