Brexit may give higher energy bills and supply shortages

British energy consumers may feel the upcoming break from the EU in more than one way, according to a new report.

The British decision to leave the EU could have consequences outside the trade and banking sectors as the British power outlets may also be affected, writes The Guardian.

The British House of Lords came to this conclusion, and according to the report, Britain will be more vulnerable to power shortages and these shortages may drive up electricity prices significantly.
