The EU's intent to influence what will happen with the gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 looks like an attempt to force Russia to give up the project, says Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, according to Reuters.
"Our approach to the implementation of this project has not changed so far: this is not a political tool, this is a regular commercial project, aimed at safeguarding Europe's energy security," says Medvedev.
