New Ørsted survey shows broad support for green energy

The Danish energy company has completed what it calls the largest survey of opinions on green energy to date. The consensus is clear across 13 nations.

A majority of surveyed citizens across 13 countries believe that the globe should be exclusively powered by green energy, states Ørsted after it commissioned analyst agency Edelman Intelligence to investigate the question via more than 26,000 interviews.

The analysis, which Ørsted refers to as the largest survey to date about opinions on green energy, shows that 82 percent of the surveyed participants "believe the world should run entirely on green energy." In Denmark, 83 percent answered affirmative to this question, thus ranking the Danes in the same group as France and the US – 1 percent above the British and 3 percent above Sweden.
