Huge price declines in auction of 600 MW solar and wind in Chile

The price has declined 32 percent relative to last year's auction.

Chile has awarded contracts for renewable energy projects with total capacity of 600 MW at a price 32 percent below the level of last year's auction.

The average price came to USD 32.5 per MWh in this bidding round, compared to USD 47.6 in the auction last year.
